Domains

Your domain is your address on the internet (e.g. yourcompany.com). Use this page to find, register, or connect a domain, then point it at your Hextiny site.

1. 1. Search for a domain

   Type a name in the search box and press Search (or Enter). Pick a TLD filter like .com, .net, .io, .dev to narrow results. Live suggestions appear as you type, with price and availability.

2. 2. Register (buy) an available domain

   For any Available result, click the cart icon to Add to Cart, then check out. Hextiny registers it for you and it appears under Your Domains. If a name is taken, use Make Offer (if it was registered through Hextiny) or try another suggestion.

3. 3. Connect a domain you already own

   Click Add Domain, enter your existing domain, choose provider external, and save. You'll then verify ownership via DNS.

4. 4. Verify ownership

   Click Verify on your domain. Hextiny checks the DNS records. For external domains, add the provided verification/DNS records at your current registrar (use Settings → DNS to see exact values). Status moves from pending to verified.

5. 5. Point the domain at your site

   Once verified, configure the domain's DNS/records in Domain Settings to connect it to your Hextiny project. Add an SSL certificate from the SSL page to enable https://.

6. 6. Manage & renew

   Track expiry dates in Your Domains, view DNS records anytime, and remove a domain with the trash button. Renew before the expiry date to keep ownership.
